How we work at GO Educational Tours.

Booking your tour with us is easy, but the first step of every journey is taking that first step. We will present you with a quote based on the destination, number of days and nights, number of students, grade of accommodations and food desired, and types of venues which charge admission. When we speak, we will suggest myriad venues from which you may select some or all. After booking your tour, we will conduct a strategy session with you to tailor the tour to your needs. We do not dictate itineraries, we prefer to engage the school in planning, as a team.

Please call us -there is a part of us that is “old school” and we would enjoy speaking with you, whether it be by landline, Skype, or if you prefer, email, chats, or IM’s. Please tell us where you would like go and what you would like to see. Alternatively, you may submit a quick quote request form or  detailed quote request form , which is a lengthier version but worth the effort if you know the details desired for your tour. We will then follow up with you when convenient for you. The following elucidates the process further:

  1. We will ask you if your tour has a specific interest or just a general theme – we want to know what objectives you have for the trip. This will facilitate our design of an itinerary, and assist us with selecting the most appropriate GO Leader for your tour.
  2. We will design an itinerary expeditiously. The itineraries we design will choreograph each hour of the day, and can be tailored to cover a lot of ground in a short period, or to focus on a specific location and theme over a longer period.
  3. Our pricing is simple and devoid of hidden fees or gimmicks such as the old, tired “bait and switch” tactics practiced by certain other unnamed student travel companies.
  4. We can offer an evening presentation via a webcast for the group and/or for the parents during an evening session –the parents can even participate from home if scheduling a parent night is too complex. and if they can’t attend they can always watch the presentation later by accessing the recording.
  5. Periodically, you will receive emails pertaining to matters such as students’ rooms, final payments etc.
  6. Then you will “GO” on your tour!!!
  7. A dynamic, educated, young and very well trained GO Leader (GL) will serve as your guide and educator during the tour to engage students and provide support for the organizers during the trip. Some teachers traveling with their students prefer to lead the educational discussion, in which case your GO Leader can assume a more passive, supporting role.
